GEORGE ARMSTRONG CUSTER

Born in New Rumley, Ohio on December 5, 1839. Graduated from West Point last in his class in 1861. Became the Union's youngest brigadier general on June 29, 1863.
Commanded the Potomac's Cavalry Corps in April 1864-65. Led the 7th Cavalry to it's doom in Montana on June 25, 1876. Killed at Little Big Horn River, Montana, and buried at West Point.
